exit and then set sound to your tv and run again. basicly each time you have to first run the game with something else set to default device. This is some weird bug but it works for me when i play guitar hero 3. You' have to do this each time so for example if you get it to work and then exit the game and simply start it again it wont work.
The once again exit through game settingsĦ)go to playback and set default device back to your tvħ)start game it should work for sure this time. the sound should at this point still not be coming from your TV. FIX: it seems Mr TehNoms was having a different issue i guess? But for anyone else with an issue something similar to this were sound wont come through HDMI on only some games do the following.ġ)left click sound icon on task bar and click playback devices.Ģ)you should see your tv name thru HDMI ordinarily what you want to do is left click an hit set as default device.ģ) Start game and see if it works if it doesn't exit the game (Important exit through game options don't alt click out and close window)Ĥ)go to playback devices and set another device to default device.(Not the TV)ĥ) Start and load up the game.
